Welcome to Beacon Light Doulas. By using our website (https://beaconlightdoulas.com/) and booking our services, you agree to the following:

Scope of Services: Beacon Light Doulas provides non-medical, non-legal, and non-funeral support. This includes end-of-life planning, vigil support, legacy projects, and grief companionship.

Professional Boundaries (The "Not" List):

Not Medical: We do not provide medical care, nursing services, or clinical advice. We do not administer medication or interface with hospice/palliative care in a clinical capacity.

Not Legal: We may help you organize your thoughts for advance directives, but we are not attorneys and do not provide legal advice.

Not a Funeral Director: In accordance with California law, we are not licensed funeral directors. We do not store, transport, or embalm remains. We offer education and consultation on home funerals, but the family or a licensed funeral establishment must handle the physical disposition of the body.

Cancellation Policy: We require 24 hours’ notice for the cancellation of scheduled consultations or planning sessions.

Limitation of Liability: Beacon Light Doulas is not liable for any decisions made by the client or their family regarding medical, legal, or funeral arrangements.

Governing Law: These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.

Beacon Light Doulas provides compassionate end-of-life care, death doula services, and grief support for terminal illness and death at home.

We are SF Bay Area death doulas servicing San Jose, San Francisco, Pacifica, Santa Clara County, San Mateo County, Alameda County, Contra Costa County, Marin and San Francisco County
